Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) index down 4% on foreign selling

KARACHI: The Stock Index of Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) went more than 4 percent down , or 510 points, at 11185 today morning. Volume was 24.2 million shares and losers led gainers 194 to 7.
After the restoration of maximum intraday drop of 5 per cent, scared investors instead of taking this opportunity to make it good to recover the past losses went into the panic. They rushed to sell their stocks, which led to the free fall of the index over 500 points and the KSE -100 index set below 11185 until 11AM.
“There is a lot of foreign selling today,” Director of broking operations at Capital One Equities Ltd, was quoted as saying by the news agency
