    Bindra senior was arrested by the Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police from his sprawling farmhouse in Mohali Thursday evening for defrauding a private finance company and a private bank of over Rs.90 million.

Chandigarh, May 14 (IANS) India’s first Olympics gold medal winner Abhinav Bindra’s father A.S. Bindra was arrested by a Delhi Police team from his farmhouse near here Thursday evening for defrauding nationalised and private banks of millions of rupees.

Bindra senior was arrested by the Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police from his sprawling farmhouse in Punjab, 15 km from here.

New Delhi, May 13 (IANS) Cricket will make its debut in Asian Games after the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Wednesday decided to include the sport in the multi-disciplinary mega event.

The OCA general assembly in Kuwait approved a proposal to include cricket as a discipline for men and women this week. The decision will come in effect during the 2010 Asian Games at Guangzhou, China.
