Out of this, two orders worth Rs.413.5 crore are for the execution of power transmission and distribution projects, while the third one worth Rs.104.7 crore is for the execution of infrastructure works, the company said in a regulatory statement.

Raipur, May 19 (IANS) A sacked security guard of Lafarge Cement was arrested near here for stabbing the unit vice president for removing him from his job, police said Tuesday.
Prem Kumar Verma, who used to work as a security guard with the company, Monday stormed into the chamber of Kirandeep Patil, posted as vice-president of the unit at Baloda Bazar in Raipur district, and stabbed him with sharp edged weapon, District Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar told reporters.

Bhopal, May 19 (IANS) At least nine people, including seven children, were killed and 20 injured when the tractor trolley they were travelling in overturned in Madhya Pradesh’s Tikamgarh district, police said Tuesday.
“The accident took place late Monday in Nanhi Tekri locality when the driver lost balance while negotiating a turn and the tractor trolley overturned,” said an official of Bodera police station.
