LAHORE : An election tribunal of the Lahore High Court on Monday approved appeals for hearing in which the petitioners had challenged the decision of returning officers to allow leaders of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) to contest the by-elections.

ISLAMABAD : The constitutional package for reinstatement of deposed judges of superior judiciary has been finalised and would be presented in next session of the National Assembly, Minister for Law and Justice Farooq H Naek said on Monday.
KARACHI : Former chief minister of Punjab and Senior Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo has resigned from party membership, Aaj TV reported. Mian Wattoo presented his resignation to PML-Q President, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain in a meeting.
