KARACHI : Deposed chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has praised the judges who refused to take oath under PCO and said that judiciary has always tried to be handled roughly in Pakistan.

In his telephonic address to a joint meeting of Sindh High Court Bar, Karachi Bar and Malir Bar associations here on Thursday he said no mischief would be allowed with the country.

According to Geo report that President Pervez Musharraf has offered to resign in return for indemnity by parliament for his unconstitutional steps taken on November 3, 2007, sources told the Geo on Tuesday. It came up during his recent discussion between the him and Zardair on constitutional package that Pakistan People’s Party has prepared.
