    Constitutional package ready: Farooq Naek

    ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Law, Farooq H. Naek Monday announced that the constitutional package has been finalized which, he said, may be tabled in the Parliament before the federal budget.


    Lawyers’ March on June 10th

    Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) vowed to stage massive protests next week unless government meets all requirements by reinstating all judges including Iftikhar Muhammad Choudhry. The warning came after lawyers found no progress in restoration of Judges from either party in the government.

    A new government composed of some of his fiercest opponents took office six weeks ago and promised to reinstate the justices, casting doubt on Musharraf’s political survival.
