Islamabad, May 2 (ANI): The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) have agreed to giving a five-year tenure to the Chief Justice of Pakistan, thus reducing the tenure of deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry by three years.
KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have finally announced a power sharing deal in Sindh. The MQM will get 13 ministries, one advisor and one special assistant to the Sindh government. Karachi, Apr 30 (ANI): PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari is likely to meet MQM chief Altaf Hussain in London in the next two days to discuss and finalise the power-sharing formula in the Sindh province.
KARACHI: Sindh Cabinet has approved laying off the contract staff of Grade-1 to 22 serving in various departments. The announcement to this effect was made by Sindh Information Minister, Shazia Marri at a press conference.
