ISLAMABAD : The federal government on Wednesday filed a petition in the Supreme Court of Pakistan against the verdict of Lahore High Court (LHC) which on Monday disqualified the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Nawaz Sharif from contesting by-elections from NA-123.
