    ADB to spend $300m on Sindh Cities Improvement programme

    Karachi—Sindh Government is carrying out planning for 300 million dollar Sindh Cities Improvement Program with the cooperation of Asian Development Bank. This was informed by Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development, Nazar Hussain Maher, in a briefing on ADB funded projects given to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah here Saturday.

Gul Muhammad Umrani, an officer of Ex-PCS (BS-20), awaiting posting, has been posted as Secretary, Women Development Department from where Abdus Subhan Memon, an officer of DMG (BS-20), has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Inter-Provincial Co-ordination Department.

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have finally announced a power sharing deal in Sindh. The MQM will get 13 ministries, one advisor and one special assistant to the Sindh government. PPP leader Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq and MQM Deputy Convener Dr. Farooq Sattar announced this at a joint press conference here on Wednesday.
