MUMBAI : Bollywoods first bahu is back at doing what she does best- making waves. This time at the French seaside town of Cannes, where the me de la crime of movies from across the globe come together for a round of partying, business, and movie awards (in that order). And chillax, Ash will be all Indian couture this time.

The last that she was at Cannes in her cross back black dresses, hair tied in high buns and a dazzling smile at every photage, the dressing saga was a faux pass. The beauty, with her Hindustani dil in place, had failed to charm us back home. How we missed the Devdas saris at the red carpet…

This time, Ash will be seen in an exceptionally Indianised look. Popular names of the Indian fashion industry like Shiraf, Abu Jani and Samir Khosla will be designing for the Bollywood diva, with special focus on traditional look of her wardrobe.

Ash has been very closely associated with the Cannes film festival. The actress has previously been to the Cannes as a jury member, in 2003. Four years back, her film Devdas was screened at Cannes, and more recently, Provoked, a real life story of a battered housewife Kiran Ahluwalia, was screened at the festival, last year.
