“I find it disturbing also that some film makers want to make only what is called ‘dollar cinema’ … with no consideration for audiences living in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. They ignore the rupee paying rural audience. This only betrays their ignorance about human beings. I am glad that there is no such misgiving in the minds of the makers of television programmes. And the good part is that television reaches a far far larger audience. While, it is not possible for me to acknowledge everybody individually, I wish to thank all those people who have liked Dus ka Dum, and continue to enjoy it irrespective of whether they live in India or abroad. The nice part is that no matter where they live it makes me feel I live in their heart and that is such a wonderful feeling. Thank you feels so small a word to say…”
