Dempo eyeing Syrian mid-fielder Al Hussein

New Delhi, Sep 14 (IANS) Two-time League champions Dempo Sports Club of Goa are eyeing to rope in Syrian mid-fielder Abdel Razzaq Al Hussein.
Dempo coach Armando Colaco told reporters here Monday that he was impressed with Al Hussein’s performance in the Nehru Cup.
“We are trying to get him through the Asian quota. I saw him during the Nehru Cup and felt that he can fit into our scheme of things,” said the 23-year-old Syrian player.
From this season, Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has allowed I-League clubs to recruit four overseas players but one has to be of Asian origin.
