Zardaris plea transferred to another judge
May 7th, 2008 | By Sindh Today | Category: Focused, PakistanISLAMABAD : Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday transferred Asif Zardaris plea for withdrawal of charges in container case to another judge.
The counsel of Asif Ali Zardari in a petition filed in SHC said that the case was filed against his client in 1997 and pleaded the court to dismiss the case, private news channel reported.
The case, which was pending in the court of SHC judge Justice Arshad Noor Khan, was transferred to Justice Binyamin due to Justice Arshad Noors engagement in division bench.
Justice Binyamins court has adjourned all cases including the container case for unspecified period.
The counsels of Asif Zardari have said they will go to another bench of Sindh High Court for urgent hearing of the case. APP (Associated Press of Pakistan), 2008
