LAHORE : A petition, seeking President Pervez Musharraf out of the army house, was filed in the Supreme Court on Wednesday, lawyers said.
President Musharraf has been living in army house in the garrison city of Rawalpindi since November 2007 when he relinquished the office of the army chief.
Political parties, lawyers and retired army generals are demanding Musharraf should leave army house as he is no more the army chief.
Opposition parties accuse President Musharraf of using army house for political activities.

Secretary General of the Tehrik Jamil Akhtar said in his petition that President Musharraf retired as the army chief in November 2007 and that his stay at the army house is illegal and unjustified.
He prayed to the court to ask Musjarraf to vacate the army house and move to the Presidency in Islamabad.
