LAHORE: A woman, her mother and four minor children found slaughtered in their house at Muhammad Din Colony, Shalimar Area on Saturday.

The motive behind their killing could not be ascertained immediately, a police official said.

According to police, Sajid an employee of Agriculture department in Gujranwala, returned home at evening and he saw that his wife Uzma Bibi (34) and two daughters Kashaf (8),Bisma (5) and two sons Jawad (7) and Fahad (3) found dead in first story of the house While the body of his mother-in-law Sarwar Khanum (65) was lying in the room of second story of the house. Upon which he shouted.

People of the locality gathered there after hearing noise. In the meanwhile, the concerned police also reached the spot and took the bodies into custody. Later, the bodies have been removed to the city morgue for autopsy.

On suspicion, CIA Police have arrested Sajid for interrogation.

The police have also recovered three knives from the house.
