Jamadi-us-Sani moon may be sighted today

According to astronomical parameters, there is a slight chance of sighting the Jamadi-us-Sani moon today. Therefore, Jamadi-us-Sani One, 1429 AH may fall on Thursday. The moon crossed the conjunction line today (Wednesday) at 0023 Pakistan Summer Time (PST).
The sunset today will be at 2019 PST, and the evening civil twilight (ECTL) will be at 2045 PST. The moon will set at 2117 PST. Thus the age of the new moon will be 19 hours and 22 minutes at ECTL. It will set 58 minutes after sunset and 32 minutes after ECTL. At the time of ECTL the moon will be at an altitude of five degrees and 59 minutes and at an azimuth of 297 degrees and 37 minutes. The weather is expected to be partly cloudy.
