Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif candidature challenged again

LAHORE : The candidature of PML-N chief, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and party president Shahbaz Sharif has been challenged in Lahore High Court (LHC) while a full bench of the court will start hearing of the petitions from tomorrow (Thursday).
Noor Elahi, a rival candidate of PML-N chief from NA-123 Lahore and Syed Khurram Shah, the rival of Shahbaz Sharif from PP-48 Bhakkar filed their petitions in LHC on Wednesday.
The petitioners in their petitions challenged the acceptance of the nomination papers of both PML-N leaders as well as the decision of Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan (CEC) to allow Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif for contesting the by-polls.
A full bench of the LHC comprising Justice Fazal-e-Miran Chouhan, Justice Hasnat Ahmad Khan and Justice Muhammad Ahsan Bhoon will start the hearing of the petitions from tomorrow. APP (Associated Press of Pakistan), 2008
