  1. During Kargil invasion hundreds of soldiers died, was a blunder nearly became full fledge war. It was a betrayal of trust Mr. Nawaz Sharif had in army commander General Musharaf. The dead soldiers families are entitled to explanation and compensation. The other army commanders have told the truth that Mr. Sharif did not know about the ill fated adventure of the army. Now it is Mr. Musharaf’s turn to tell his side of the facts and not deny what is known. It appears that Mr. Musharaf has been taking the people for ride. Mr. Sharif is a true democrat and we can believe what he has said. It is also thanks to Mr. Sharif who rushed to USA to save the country from full-fledged war when Pakistan was not prepared at all. We should honor the agreement he made with PM Atal Behari. Mr. Sharif had the guts and courage to ride in the bus with the PM of India in a historic moment. The enquiry into Kargil is well justified as well as the treatment that was mooed out to the judiciary.
