APDM to be decided future line of action in June 18 meeting

ISLAMABAD : Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf Chief Imran Khan has said that the important meeting of the All Parties Democratic Movement will be held on June 18 in which future line of action regarding re-instatement of judges against the government will be planned.
Talking to media on Saturday, Imran said the full participation of civil society members and lawyers in the long march has jolted presidency and parliament in disarray and paid high tributes to the nation on making a long march a success.
“The movement for the independence of judiciary is not the lawyers movement but of the whole nation”, he maintained.
He said People of all categories including the ruling party participated in the long march and unanimously gave decision against Musharraf.
“If free judiciary exist in the country then the nation will be free and justice at the doorstep of everyone and that society progresses, having free judiciary”, he pointed out.
Various tactics are being used by Bush, Altaf Hussain and other looters to scrap the independence of Judiciary to avoid themselves accountability but they should know that the nation will not allow them to escape.
He said the credit goes to the lawyers movement which brought back the leadership of PML-N and PPP to the country.
Imran Khan said the stance of PML-N is very clear regarding restoration of judiciary and it assured that PML-N will play an effective role in the restoration of judiciary.
“The constitutional validity given to actors as Mir Jaafar and Mir Saadiq in the present judiciary do not want democracy and free judiciary in the country”, he added.
He said Asif Ali Zardari is playing dual role to befool the nation and batting on both sides of the wicket but the media created awareness in the nation to show the rulers that nation can be made fool again. NNI (News Network International), 2008
