Delegation to meet militants for release of journalists

MOHMAND AGENCY : Delegation of tribal elders is set to hold talks with pro-Taliban militants group for the release of two abducted journalists here on Saturday.
The militants detained freelance reporter Pir Zubair Shah and photographer Akhtar Soomro in Ziarat village, in the Mohmand region late on Thursday.
Adviser to prime minister Rehman Malik has instructed for the early recovery of journalists. Political administration of area has sent a delegation of tribal elders which will hold talks with militants.
“Were doing our best. Weve sent a delegation of tribal elders to the kidnappers to get them released,” said the official, who denied to be identified. Aaj TV, 2008
