Negotiations on cancellation wheel jam strike fail

KARACHI: Negotiations have failed between Provincial Minister for transport Akhter Jadoon and Karachi Transport Ittehad on the cancellation of wheel jam strike that was called on 11 and 12 July here on Sunday.

Sources said that Akhter Jadoon called in Karachi transporters at his office to find cancellation 2-day wheel-jam-strike and asked for transporters recommendations on increase in transport fares.

President Karachi Transport Ittehad, Irshad Bukhari said that call for wheel-jam-strike would not be suspended and demanded the government to subsidize transport fares. geo tv
