Indian Army fired on Pakistani post, Pakistan retaliated

ISLAMABAD: Military Spokesman Major General Athar Abbas said that, the Indian Army fired two mortars and small arms on a Pakistani post-Battal Rawalakot. He said that Pakistan army returned fire with mortars and small arms.
There was no immediate report of casualties in the exchange of firing.
Major-General Abbas said a protest was conveyed through hot line across the border and an immediate meeting of DGMOs is required.
“Pakistan is demanding an immediate meeting at the level of Directors General Military Operations,” he said.
