UN agreed to investigate Benazir Bhutto’s assassination

Pakistan and United Nations (UN) have agreed on understanding to establish a panel to investigate the assassination of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. Pakistan Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, said.
Benazir Bhutto, the leader of one of two largest political parties of Pakistan, was killed in a suicide bombing last year in the Liaquat Park Rawalpindi after she addressed the election rally.
UN said in the statement that they have reached at broad understanding with Pakistan but further consultation will be required.
Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, on widespread demand of foreign investigation, had invited British Scotland Yard team but Scotland Yard didn’t investigate completely. Scotland Yard after finishing the investigation had said that there assignment was only to find the cause of death.
