No country hunting from militants in Pakistan : Pakistan foreign Minister
Jul 13th, 2008 | By Sindh Today | Category: Focused, PakistanNEW YORK: Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that no country including US is hunting from militants in Pakistan and no country will be allowed to search from anyone within the Pakistan territory.
“Our government’s policy is that our troops, paramilitary forces and our regular forces are deployed in sufficient numbers. They are capable of taking action there. And any foreign intrusion would be counterproductive,” Foreign news agency quoted him as saying.
He further said Pakistan’s newly elected civilian government is negotiating with tribal elders to secure peace with militants.
