By-elections to be held on June 3: Chief EC of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan Justice Qazi Farooq (Retd) has announced that by-elections would be held on June 3.
Addressing a press conference in the federal capital, Chief Election Commissioner said that nomination papers would be issued from April 16 for by-elections and the same could be submitted till April 21 nomination papers will be scrutinized between April 22 to 28. The final list of candidates will be issued by May 12. He said election campaign by candidates would end on June 1.
Polling will take place for 28 seats in National, Provincial Assemblies and the Senate.
He termed the elections as a destination of democracy. He praised the role of media. He appealed the voters to cast their vote. AAJ
