Government to keep liaison with Council of Islamic Ideology (CII): PM
Apr 18th, 2008 | By Sindh Today | Category: PakistanISLAMABAD, Apr 18 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Friday said the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) is an important constitutional body and the government would keep a liaison with it under the ambit of the constitution. The Prime Minister was talking to a delegation of the CII led by its Chairman Dr. Muhammad Khalid Masud, which called on him at his Parliament House Chamber.
The delegation congratulated the Prime Minister on his assuming the office and expressed the confidence that under his leadership the country would move forward in all spheres of national activities.
The Chairman CII briefed the Prime Minister on the functioning of the council.
