Sindh PPP reposes trust in Zardari

KARACHI, March 12: Pakistan People’s Party Sindh under chairmanship of Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq in its first informal meeting at the residence of Syed Qaim Ali Shah, chief minister designate for Sindh, has reposed full confidence in the leadership of Asif Ali Zardari, who shares PPP chairmanship with his son Bilawal Bhutto, and decisions taken by him.
The provincial party also called the remarks passed by PML-N leader Khwaja Asif for PPP Senior Vice Chairman Amin Fahim as undesired and said it was internal issue of the party and leaders of other political parties should not interfere in the internal affairs of other parties.
After the meeting, Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq told a news conference that the meeting has proved that the PPP was united like rock and all leaders remained together during the difficult days and would remain together during the good days ahead. Qaim Ali Shah, Nisar Khuhro, Makhdoom Jamil-uz-Zaman, son of Amin Fahim, Zulfiqar Mirza, and Nafis Siddiqui were also present on the occasion.
The PPP also reposed confidence in chief minister designate Qaim Ali Shah, speaker designate Nisar Khuhro and Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq, leader designate of the parliamentary party. Pir Mazhar announced that under the directives of the co-chairman and in accordance with the wishes of martyred PPP leader, all MPAs-elect would carry the dead bodies of 20 unidentified martyrs of October 18 carnage in a procession today (Wednesday) to Garhi Khuda Bukhsh and attend their burial there.
While calling these martyrs as unknown soldiers of the PPP, he paid rich tributes to them and said that under the directives of the co-chairman, the words “I am Bhutto” would be inscribed on their graves.
