MQM joined Sindh Govt with PPP

mqm-and-ppp-joined-hands.gifKARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have finally announced a power sharing deal in Sindh.

The MQM will get 13 ministries, one advisor and one special assistant to the Sindh government.

PPP leader Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq and MQM Deputy Convener Dr. Farooq Sattar announced this at a joint press conference here on Wednesday.

Pir Mazhar said MQM never said they had any conditions rather they continued their unconditional support to PPP.

MQM got portfolios of health, trade and industry, information technology, environment, sports, youth affairs, rural development, public health, and engineering, Auqaf and human rights.

Announcement regarding two ministries and as many advisors was not made today.
