Waqar Mehdi special assistant to CM
May 6th, 2008 | By Sindh Today | Category: SindhKARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has appointed the PPP’s senior worker, Waqar Mehdi, his special assistant for the press and media.
According to an official handout issued from Chief Minister House on Monday, a notification for his appointment has been formally issued. Mehdi, presently working as the party’s acting information secretary for Sindh, started his political career from ward-182, Nazimabad, in 1980. During his political career, he also served as the information secretary for Nazimabad and District Central, and as the media coordinator of the Karachi division. His father, late Asghar Mehdi, was a founding member of the party.
