MQM to contest for posts of CM, Speaker, Dep Speaker
Apr 2nd, 2008 | By Sindh Today | Category: SindhKARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Tuesday decided to contest the election for the posts of Sindh Chief Minister, Speaker and Deputy Speaker and the names of candidates for the same will be announced in the next 24 hours.
Co-chairman Pakistan People’s Party, Asif Ali Zardari had announced to include MQM in the Sindh government after Altaf Hussain committed unconditional support to PPP during a telephonic conversation with Zardari.
