Karachi businessmen assured for security by IG Police Sindh
May 15th, 2008 | By Sindh Today | Category: Focused, SindhKARACHI: Inspector General (IG) of Police, Sindh Muhammad Shoaib Suddle has said that he is very keen on taking the necessary action against the elements that are involved in creating a law and order situation in the city.
During a meeting with the office-bearers of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), he added that numerous administrative changes are being undertaken with a view to improving the existing law and order situation.
“The business community is the backbone of the country and a big chunk of foreign exchange is generated through business activities,” he stated. He assured the delegation that if a problem relating to law and order is faced by the business community, they were to approach him to solve the problem.
The IG suggested visiting the chamber along with his senior colleagues of the police department to discuss matters of mutual interest and to be able to overcome the problems with the help of the business community.
Vice President of KCCI, Muhammad Haroon Agar appreciated the role of the IG Police, in resolving the problems relating to the law and order situation in Karachi, particularly the area covered adjacent to M A Jinnah Road, Karachi.
