Sindh High Court CJ alters sitting of benches

KARACHI: The sittings of different judges of the Sindh High Court (SHC) have been altered on the orders and directions of Chief Justice Muhammad Afzal Soomro.

According to an order by the Additional Registrar of the Roster branch, which notifies the sittings of judges in benches at the principal seat (Karachi) and circuit benches, the orders of the CJ were conveyed on the telephone and pursuant to them Justice Qaiser Iqbal was ordered to hold court at the Larkana circuit bench for a fortnight i.e. from May 15 to May 31 in place of Justice Ali Sain Dino Metlo. The CJ also ordered that Justice Syed Mahmood Alam Rizvi, sitting in a division bench with Justice Qaiser Iqbal, will hold a single bench.
