Arbab’s name added to ECL
Apr 7th, 2008 | By Sindh Today | Category: SindhKARACHI: Former Sindh chief minister and PML-Q Sindh President Arbab Ghulam Rahim has been placed on the Exit Control List (ECL), sources disclosed on Sunday. “This is an open retaliation. On many complaints, FIRs were registered against Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) workers and leaders in my tenure but nobody was arrested,†Rahim told Daily Times. Arbab said the PPP government had not been able to find any evidence of corruption against him because his hands were “cleanâ€. He said he had informed the presidency and PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain of the development. According to sources, 20 of Arbab’s closest friends might also shortly find their names on the ECL. qazi asif
