MQM observes sixteenth anniversary of 92 martyrs
Jun 20th, 2008 | By Sindh Today | Category: Focused, SindhKARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Thursday observed sixteenth anniversary of the martyrs of June 19, 1992 in the four provinces, besides Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Quraan Khwani was held for the martyrs in these zones, while main gathering was held in central MQM headquarter Nine Zero in Karachi.Members of Rabita Committee, Ministers, Advisors, MNAs, MPAs, Town and Union Council Nazims, Naib Nazims, members of different wings and sectors and a number of sympathisers attended the gatherings.
They offered prayers for rest of departed souls in eternal peace. They also prayed for well-being and long life of MQM patron Altaf Hussain. geo tv
