Only a judicial inquiry into Sindh assembly incident credible: Ch Shujaat

KARACHI: PML-Q president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said violence against former chief minister Sindh Arbab Ghulam Rahim is an undemocratic posture adding the incident is condemnable.
He said this while talking to the journalists here at airport Tuesday. Former information minister Nisar A Memon, former federal minister Muhammad Ali Durrani and others were also present on the occasion.
Denouncing the violence against former chief minister Sindh Arbab Ghulam Rahim Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said he did not believe in any inquiry. However a judicial inquiry into the incident could be acceptable.
“I will go to MQM headquarters 90 and will evolve future strategy after having a meeting with the MAQ leaders, he told.
Responding to a question he said ” we will announce our protest strategy after discussing the matter with party senior leadership. Media should depict the true picture of the incident, he urged.
Arbab Ghulam Rahim had also arrived airport to receive Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain but he did not alight from his van.
Stringent security measures were taken on the arrival of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and heavy contingent of police was deployed there.
