Polio campaign in Sindh begins today
Jun 30th, 2008 | By Sindh Today | Category: SindhKARACHI: Three-day polio campaign will begin today during which more than 65,000 children of below five years will be provided drops.Project director EPI Dr Mazhar Khamisani told Geo News that in all 19,433 teams have been formed for the campaign and 3,748 in charges and 716 zonal supervisors would supervise the campaign.
The campaign will be inaugurated by provincial minister for health Dr Sagheer Ahmed.Dr Khamisanai told that the HO has been directed to ensure the finger marking of the children, taking polio drops otherwise action would be taken against the staff. geo tv
