Karachi blasts: SSPs of concerned areas suspended
Jul 7th, 2008 | By Sindh Today | Category: SindhKARACHI: Following the bomb blasts in Karachi, orders of suspension of the SSPs in the concerned areas have been issued by Chief Minister Sindh Quaim Ali Shah.
Addressing a press conference in the Chief Minister House, Quaim Ali Shah said that a conspiracy following the bomb blasts has been attempted but it was foiled with the help of the people.
He said that a two-member committee has been formed after the blasts and it has been assigned the investigation of the incident and this committee would submit its report within two days.
The Chief Minister said that the SSPs of the areas where bombs exploded have been suspended.
Chief Minister Quaim Ali Shah has announced to give Rs 50,000 to the wounded and Rs 200,000 to the persons killed in the blasts. geo
