“Tamgha-e-Imtiaz” awarded official to face corruption case by Sindh Government

KARACHI: Sindh government has decided to file the corruption case against the corrupt “Tamgha-e-Imtiaz” City District Government of Karachi (CDGK) official for the corruption of Rs50 million.

Liaquat Ali Khan, The EDO Parks of CDGK, who was awarded “Tamgha-e-Imtiaz” by Sindh Governor for “Beautification of Karachi”, have been found corrupt in the very same project for which he was honored with the award, according to the findings of Sindh Government investigation.

Other junior official, who have been found involved by investigation team, are Ahsan Illahi Aftab, Mushir Ahmed, Nadeem, Abdul Hameed, and Lal Muhammad.

Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) have ordered to arrest Liaquat Ali Khan and junior officials. ACE have also recommended to file corruption case against them.
