Shimla, Nov 19 (IANS) The week-long winter session of the Himachal Pradesh legislative assembly will be held at Dharamsala in Kangra district from Dec 11, an official statement said Wednesday.

A proposal to call the assembly session from Dec 11 to Dec 17 has been approved by Governor Prabha Rau.

Dharamsala, the seat of Tibetan government-in-exile, is considered as the winter capital of the hill state.
