Kashmir protests continued on fifth day

Thousands of people are turned out for a protest on the fifth day of demonstration while hundreds of policemen were seen patrolling on the streets of Srinagar.

BBC reported that more than 30,000 people converaged in Srinagar to protest against the allotment of piece of land for Hindu Shrine. One of the eye witness said that Police used tear gas to desperse huge gathering of protestors in the town of Pulwama, south of Srinagar. Local shops, businesses and goverment remained closed during all day.

Three Kashmiris have died in protests this week and nearly 200 have been injured.
