Kashmir Violence: Kashmir Govt decided not to give land for Amarnath Shrine
Jun 29th, 2008 | By Sindh Today | Category: IndiaState Chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad decided that Kashmir Cabinet would formally revoke the plan of giving land to Hindus for Amarnath Shrine.
He said to reporters that Board members of Amarnath shrine also agreed to return the land. However, he further said that Kashmir Govt will try its best to accomodate pilgrams coming for Amarnath Shrine.
The tranfer of land has seen protest for whole week which caused the killing of three people and several people inlcuding policemen injured.
