Government officials attacked, vehicles burnt in Ghaziabad
Jul 24th, 2008 | By Sindh Today | Category: India, OtherLoni (Ghaziabad), July 24 (IANS) Three people sustained bullet wounds when government officials were fired upon while trying to make squatters vacate state-owned land here Thursday.
The “land grabbers” fired on the officials, set fire to a police post, burnt the Gypsy vehicle of the sub-divisional magistrate and a dozen other vehicles in the evening.
The firing is continuing.
