    Apple confirms iPhone 3G blacklist function

    It is now clear that iPhone 3G has application called “Blacklist” or “Kill Switch” which allows Apple to eliminate any unauthorized application remotely on the iPhone. At last, Apple chief executive confirmed the existence of application built into the iPhone software.

    Report: Apple’s “blacklist” Kills iPhone applications

    It is the buzz of the day that Apple can kill any application running on your iPhone first generation or iPhone 3G. According to Researcher Jonathan Zdziarski, Apple installed a file in the iPhone’s firmware which could allow Apple contacting with apple server to remove any application remotely. He further said that the iPhone comes with application “blacklist” which gives control to Apple in killing certain applications on the iPhone.
