    Gujjars invited by Raje Govt

    Karwadi/Jaipur, June 5: Fresh efforts to stop the fortnight-long Gujjar agitation, the Rajasthan government today invited for talks with community leader Kirori Singh Bainsla who said he would send his representatives after consulting prominent Gujjar leaders.


    Gujjars blocked railway tracks

    Nearly 200 Gujjar woman blocked railway track near Shalawas, in Dausu districk on wednesday. According to reports that about 40 trains have been cancelled when the rail traffic got disrupted on route linking Rajasthan to other states. Security forces are keeping strict vigil in the violence-hit areas.

Gujjar Leader will meet with Raje If representative is sent to Bharatpur

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje will meet the Gujjar leader Colonel Bainsla in Pilupura village, near Bharatpur.
Bainsla, who is leading the protests, has said the talks will happen on the condition if the state government sends a representative to Bharatpur.

Bharatpur/Jaipur (PTI): At least 15 people, including a policeman, were on Friday killed in police firing and clashes between members of Gujjar community demanding Scheduled Caste status for them and the men in uniform at Bayana in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district, after which the army was deployed in the area.
