Nokia, World largest handset manufacturer, unveiled its new handset from its ‘Nseries’ called stable, N96. It comes with 16 GB storage space which could be expanded to 24GB by external micro SD card. It is ready to be launched in India coming September.



Nokia with 41% handset market share

The handset market worldwide grew 15% year to year, to reach 297 million units in second quarter. Nokia took the lead by taking whopping 41.1% share, up from 40.9% in the first quarter, shipping 122 million phones. Samsung followed with 15.4% share and Motorola holding third place with 9.5% followed by LG at 9.3% and Sony Ericsson at 8.2%.
