Search Use Increasing: Good News for Google

According to Pew Internet & American Life Project, Use of search engine has increased among web users. According to survey, Web Users who uses search engine has increased by 69 percent from 2002. Now using search engine is very close to checking email which is still considered the most important activity on internet. The use of email has also increased by 15 percent from the same period in 2002.
Here is the breakdown of the activities:
1. 60 Percent use email
2. 49 % Use of online search
3. 39 % Checking news
4. 30% Checking weather
5. 29% Research hobby
6. 28% Fun surfing on the web
7. 13% Use of Social networking site like (Orkut, Facebook and Myspace)
Increase in use of search engine will definitely bring Joy for companies like Yahoo, Google, MSN, Ask, and even newly developed Cuil who are actively looking for new or returning users to use their search engines.
