Report: Amazon Improves Kindle to Target College Students

It appears that Amazon is working towards different strategy when it comes to its Kindle, an electronic book reader. According to Seattel PI blogger, Andrea James, who received a hint from McAdams Wright Ragen an analyst Tim Bueneman, “There are already several new, improved versions of the Kindle in the works,” says Bueneman. He further said “But AMZN has no plans, however, for an MP3 music audio version. We guess the new version will have improved interface operating controls. This has been an issue with some buyers. ”

Further to the story, CrunchGear reported that new Kindle will be launched in coming October close to holiday season. The updated version Kindle will have same screen size but with improved and better interface and new model will be shaped like 81/2 x 11-inch piece of paper which is bigger than current Kindle.
Further more, Amazon is also adding more colors to its updated Kindle for catching attention of Young people.
Amazon launched Kindle in November last year and an apparent attempt to change the way book was read. Its electronic book reader was seemed to be lacking demand after 10 months of its launch due to price tag.
