Destination to sell ads for PharmaSee TV

Apr 10th, 2008 - 1:58 pm EST By Sindh Today | Category: Technology

ONLINE: Destination Television in the U.S. is to sell local and regional advertising on the PharmaSee TV network, broadening Destination’s offer to general and lifestyle advertisers while leaving the national pharmaceuticals business to PharmaSee.

The signing of PharmaSee, which claims to reach more than 70m consumers each year through some 850 pharmacies including chains such as Medicine Shoppe, Medicap Pharmacy, Buehler’s and Hy-Vee, will add a new location type to Destination’s portfolio, which largely consists of leisure and hospitality venues including bars, restaurants, hotels and gyms.

PharmaSee’s local and regional advertising will be handled by Destination’s American Broadcast Group with immediate effect, and Destination will also take over some aspects of system installation and management for PharmaSee, the companies said today.

PharmaSee is owned by Kyle Private Networks, which also operates the BEVision in-store network in more than 300 U.S. liquor stores – another potentially good fit with Destination’s screen estate. screens dot tv
