Nokia Still Heads the Race of SmartPhone

According to Gartner Nokia heads the race of SmartPhone in the year 2008 by shipping the most number of units than its competitors. Even after heading the race with a high lead, there are some condition that seem to be alarming for Nokia, as there sales is decreasing by a certain rate and the rivals are coming closer to eat their part of revenue.

In one of our previous article we discussed that Apple and RIM are coming closer to Nokia’s figure year-by-year, and on the other hand HTC is also showing some rapid activities.

Nokia’s smartphone sales has been dropped from 49.4 percent since 2007, but the Gartner still predicting that the Nokia’s SmartPhones are still able to give a competitive fight to the other in the same industry.
