Engineering students arrested for misbehaving with tourist at Puri

Puri (Orissa), Aug 16 (IANS) Three students of an engineering college in Bhubaneswar, Orissa were arrested for misbehaving with a woman tourist at the temple city of Puri, police said Saturday.

They allegedly misbehaved with the woman tourist when she was bathing in the sea at Puri, some 56 km from state capital Bhubaneswar, an official of the sea beach police station told IANS.

Police arrested the students on the basis of a written complaint filed by the husband of the woman.

    I am happy to read Orissa related news in this site. I never knew news related to India particularly that of orissa are getting so much importance in Pakistan based news agency. Even some news are published here first in comparison to the local media.

    well seems this is a newspapper which didnt manage to get any relevant news othr than that of eve teasers
    n that too a fake one…….if it really is true why didn it publish the name of the institution the all these alleged students are associated to

    itz really commendable dat orissa is getting place in pak’s media………….
    but itz really sorrowful to find such a news in this report…………….
    atlest pak media sud not destroy the career of indian students…………………..
    itz not goog for respected media spot like sindh today that it haz also displayed the names of these students agaist whom there is just an allegation and nothing else………….
    I must condemn such an act from pak media………….. atleast median sud not get into ditches by publishing such news in such a way……………
    its gud dat u reported the incident…………….. but itz really very bad that u revealed the names of the alleged ones……………………….
    …… itz highly irresponsible……….. please do not make any further publication relating to the details of these boys………….. u are welcomed to publish the proceedings of the matter……….
