London, Oct 6 (IANS) Legendary singer Tina Turner hit the stage once again for a world tour after eight years. She had last performed in 2000 at the age of 60.

Thesun.co.uk reports that Turner performed almost 21 songs in two-and-a-half hours in front of an 18,000 crowd in Chicago. She was flanked by sexy dancers and sang her hit numbers like ‘River deep mountain high’ and ‘What’s love got to do with it’ and an acoustic version of the Beatles song ‘Help’.

Before the show, she had said: ‘I wouldn’t want to diminish my credibility by going back on the road.’

Turner seems all set to establish her legendary status. She will perform in Britain in March and April next year.
